The Ministry of Finance and Public Enterprises (MFPE) invites competent Namibians to apply for consideration to serve as a member of the Board of the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA). The recruitment of the Board of Directors is done in line with Section 8 of the Public Enterprises Governance Act 2019 (Act No. 1 of 2019).
Economist

A postgraduate qualification in Economics, Econometrics, or Policy Analysis. Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience. Expertise in macroeconomic analysis, fiscal policy, and economic forecasting analytics of which five (5) years should be at an executive level.

Information Technology

A Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience. Proven expertise in managing IT systems, cybersecurity, and data analytics of which five (5) years should be at an executive level.

Finance

Master’s Degree in Finance, specializing in Investment Management or equivalent. A track record in investment management and exposure in Global Markets and Treasury, with ten(10) years experience of which 5 years should be at the executive level.

Taxation Expert

A postgraduate Degree in Taxation, Law, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, Proven expertise in tax policy, administration, compliance, and international tax matters.

Public Relations and Communicatons

A postgraduate Degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience. Expertise in managing stakeholder communications, media relations, and public perception of which five (5) years should be at an executive level.

Legal 1

An LLB qualification with specialization in Tax Law, Commercial Law, or Regulatory Compliance. Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience. Proven expertise in legal practice, policy development, and regulatory compliance, of which 5 years should be at an executive level.
